The AAB members include a retired further education lecturer, business professionals, parents and staff. The Board members all bring their life skills, experience and expertise to support and enhance life within the Academy. My objective for being part of the EAB is to assist in developing the academy within the local community and ensuring the academy is the best it can be in order to provide a high level of education for the children whom attend now and in the future.

Ms Jennifer Jones

I  moved to Knottingley from America and have lived in this community for five years.  As a parent I have always felt it is important to be involved in my children's education and to encourage them to be involved in their school and our community.I worked in business management for almost 30 years.  I am able to apply that skill set while being on the Academy Advisory Board.  I enjoy the work, especially as I see the schools continue to improve and the students become successful members of our community.  It is a privilege to be involved and I am grateful to have the opportunity to help our students reach their full potential.
