Over half term there have been a number of boards put up across the yard. This is to separate the building site with our existing school. As you will see, we have a greatly reduced space now.
We have looked at these temporary hoardings and, as a result, have made some temporary changes to ensure the continuing efficient operation of the academy and also the safety and convenience of parents dropping off and picking up their children.
Please read the changes detailed below.
All EYFS children AND KS1 children (That is Caterpillars, Butterflies, Hedgehogs (Y1) and Owls (Y2) must come in to school around the side of the building, where EYFS come into school.
KS2 children (Y3,Y4,Y5,Y6) come into school the usual way, via the yard.
Doors will open for ALL children at 8:30AM each day.
EYFS children AND KS1 children can be picked up from 3:00PM. They must be collected from around the side of the building, next to EYFS
KS2 children finish at 3:15PM and must be collected in the usual way from the yard.
Formal learning will begin at 8:45 each day for all children.
If you are collecting a child from the yard, please collect your child and vacate the yard as quickly as possible. This will minimise congestion.
Leaders will be out on the yard and in front of the academy tomorrow to help direct you and to answer any questions or queries you may have. We have done our best to minimise any inconvenience this may cause, and I'm sure you'll agree with us that it'll all be worth it in the end!
Academy re-opens WEDNESDAY 7TH NOVEMBER. See you then!
